Established in 2006, www.oursource.co.uk is regarded as England’s fastest growing specialist one-stop-shop with e-zine created specifically for the tourism and hospitality industry.
Our aim is to provide a single resource for hospitality business, providing access anything which could be needed when running a hospitality business.
From buying or selling a property, staff recruitment and sourcing specialist suppliers to providing interesting news, features and articles, free business advice, marketing information & recycling - all in one "easy-to-use" location.
An ethical and environmentally aware company, we don't print our publication, but distribute it electronically. This means that as well as keeping our carbon footprint at a minimum, we're not burdened with the extreme overheads associated with traditional print/distribution, which in turn means that we can offer a high quality publication, completely free of charge to readers.
The Team
Caroline Webster - Managing Director
Caroline Webster has over 30 years’ “hands on” experience working with, and in the hospitality industry. Commencing as a school-girl washing dishes on a Saturday, progressing throughout all departments to General Manager in hotels, restaurants and pubs, ultimately owning her own restaurant and pub management business.Her experience also encompasses some years working in advertising and recruitment agencies specialising in travel and tourism. In 1997 she joined SW Tourism as Membership Manager, becoming Head of Business Development (HoBD) in 1998, as part of the senior management team. It was during this time that SW Tourism was acknowledged as * England’s most effective regional tourist board *Hansard 2001. As HoBD she was instumental in re-focusing the boards activities to be more in line with industry needs.
Following "the boards" decison in 2006 to re-focus it's activities to be more public sector led, Caroline left and set up OurSource, an online one-stop-shop and support resource for the hospitality and tourism industry.
Paul Dalton – Web Master and all round star
Paul is our web developer and systems administrator – based in Brighton and all round “star”, Paul keeps us on track and “live”
