Established in 2006, www.oursource.co.uk is regarded as England’s fastest growing specialist one-stop-shop with news e-zine created specifically for the tourism and hospitality industry.
Our aim is to provide a "Cradle to Grave" resource for hospitality business, from 1st buying the business to staffing it, getting customers to it, locating the suppliers - right through to selling it when it's time to move on or retire.
In short - we can help with anything which could be needed when running a hospitality business.
In addition we produce a regular e-zine that provides news, features and articles all relevant to our industry - completely free of charge
An ethical and environmentally aware company, we don't print or produce expensive brochures, but distribute electronically. We're also committed to flexible working practices, so our collegaues work independantly and from their own offices.
This means that as well as keeping our carbon footprint at a minimum, we're not burdened with the extreme overheads associated with traditional businesses, which in turn means that we can offer high quality services at highly competitive rates, at cost or even, on occaision - free.
Who is Caroline Webster?
Caroline Webster - Managing Director
Caroline Webster has over 30 years working with, and in the hospitality industry. Progressing throughout all departments of hotels to General Manager in hotels, restaurants and pubs, ultimately owning her own restaurant and pub management business.Her experience also encompasses over 20 years marketing to business and consumers, with some years working in advertising and recruitment agencies also specialising in travel and tourism.
In 1997 she joined West Country Tourist Board (to become SWTourism) as Membership Manager. In 1998 , leading the business to business services she was instrumental in successfully refocussing the organsation from being a public sector body into a commercially independant not-for-profit organisation. It was during this time that SW Tourism was acknowledged as * England’s most effective regional tourist board *Hansard 2001.
In 2006 Caroline left to set up OurSource as an online one-stop-shop and support resource for the hospitality and tourism industry.
